Look out, New York…  PASIC will be returning to the City that Never Sleeps in Spring 2012 for its fabulous PASIC Power Conference.

Join PASIC for three days of essential industry news and information for published authors in every phase of their career. We’ll have discussions with top agents and editors and executives from publishing companies and book sellers, panels on promotion that works, reader events, writing through adversity and much more.

New York Times bestseller Wendy Corsi Staub will kick off the conference Thursday afternoon with a message for all writers. Thursday, we’ll all meet at Sardi’s for an industry reception, where we’ll mingle with editors, agents and industry professionals.

On Friday, we’ll start the day with a state-of-the-union address from top agents and publishing professionals, including top agents Steven Axelrod and Karen Solem and Carrie Feron, vice president/editorial director of Avon. We’ll also have panels featuring agents and editors, including appointments, discussions on online communities, and industry talk with Barnes & Noble, Smashwords and Amazon.

On Saturday, it’s all about PASIC. Our members will talk about self-publishing, writing through adversity, promotion and other topics pertinent to published authors.

The PASIC Power Conference is a hit!

Read what some of our members are saying …

“The PASIC conference is a must-attend event for published romance writers. Small workshops geared specifically to published authors; industry leaders speaking candidly about the state of the business and romance in particular; plus the rare opportunity to network with the who's who of romance publishing.”

Allison Brennan
New York Times Bestselling Author

“Of all the conferences I've ever attended, the PASIC conference is, by far, the best.  I never miss it!”

Patricia Kay

“Dollar for dollar, the PASIC Power Conference is the best investment a published romance author can make in her career.”

Christie Craig

“From workshops by industry professionals to cocktails with acquiring editors and agents, the PASIC Power Conference in New York City is the best conference around for a published romance author.”

Faye Hughes
Co-Chair/PASIC Power Conference 2009

"To borrow from another rave about New York, ‘Start spreading the news . . . ‘ There is no conference like PASIC!!  Small group interaction in the home base of publishing.  I wouldn't miss it!"

Alyssa Day
USA Today Bestselling Author

"This conference is better than chocolate: A delicious addition to my knowledge, my circle of friends and...um, yep, my waistline, too!"

Jo-Ann Power

"Absolutely fabulous! Relaxed, enlightening, and totally fun. And New York can't be beat. Editors and agents abound, and they're easily accessible. You can get together at their offices, go out for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or maybe even a Broadway show.  I can't think of a better place to hold a writers' conference--or a better group to put one on!"
