Kathe Robin, a reviewer for RT since 1981, was a devoted fan of historical romances well before the current boom in the genre, having read and collected books (like one of her all-time favorites, the "wonderful" Gone With the Wind) that often went back decades. In the years after she graduated from Newark State College in New Jersey, Kathe taught at an elementary school before leaving the classroom to raise her daughter. Not surprisingly, it was during that period of diapers and domestic duties that Kathe signed on with RT, choosing hunky Highlanders and charismatic cowboys as her subjects of choice. "Watching the genre grow and change," she says, "has been one of the most exciting and rewarding experiences of my career." Kathe resides in Denville, New Jersey.
